It’s time for Super 32! The tournament maxed out their numbers and is locked & loaded with talent from the U.S. and Canada. We go weight by weight to give you a preview of Super 32 as some of the best young women in the western hemisphere get ready to battle it out in Greensboro, NC.

As we go through the weights, you’ll see the AWW nationally-ranked girls at the top along with what we ranked them by their names. Keep in mind Super 32 weights are different than the USAW weights we use to create rankings. You’ll also see every entry at each weight. Unranked doesn’t mean these girls didn’t make All-American at some point, as the field is loaded with AA’s from every level, including some age-level All-Americans that could shock everyone. I’ll include my prediction at each weight and you can make yours. Let’s see how we do in our virtual “pick’em” at Super 32!

97 pounds
Jessica Corredor, FL #4 at 100
Alex Szkotnicki, MD #6 at 100
Eva Diaz, FL #18 at 100
Samantha Miller, WV #21 at 100
Callie Payton, GA
Lexia Schechterly, PA
Kealonie Vega, FL
Jasintai Mallqui, NJ
Tiana Marcillo, FL
Christina Linn, VA
Avery Kibelbek, TN
Jaylee Hatcher, VA
Claira Hannon, SC
Ekta Arora, PA
Sara Eusse, FL

#4 Jessica Corredor, a senior, seems to be the favorite here, though she shouldn’t take freshman #6 Alex Szkotnicki lightly. Maryland’s Szkotnicki made a Cadet World Team this year, and won gold at the Vorobyeva Cup in Russia just a few weeks ago. Can she pull the upset? In the end, I think Corredor’s maturity will be too much for her. Title prediction: Jessica Corredor

103 pounds
Heaven Fitch, NC #5 at 100
Rayana Sahagun, MI #7 at 100
Riley Banyas, OH #24 at 106
Sophia Anderson, FL #24 at 100
Sydney Petzinger, NJ AA
Madison Wellen, PA
Ava Purifoy, VA
Janessa George, CO
Hope Parrotte, IL
Devyn Moore, IN
Calli Gilchrist, CT
Kaylie Fletcher, GA
Elizabeth Elliott, NC
Chloe Dearwester, OH
Ana Bradshaw, FL
Chloe Ayres, NJ Fargo AA

Sahagun is ranked #7 because her folkstyle results have been slightly lower than her freestyle results. But this is freestyle where Sahagun is coming off a 2nd place finish in the Junior division at Fargo, including an 8-8 win over Corredor by criteria in the semis. Though #5 Fitch is a tough out, I think you’ll see Sahagun on top of the podium in the end. Title prediction: Rayana Sahagun

108 pounds
Caitlyn Walker, PA #7 at 106
Kennedy Shropshire, GA #10 at 106
Olivia Messerly, KY #12 at 106

Amy Bell, CAN
Cassidy Benwell, MD
Vivica Addo, CAN
Nora Quitt, MA
Sanii Porter, FL

Lots of talent in this one with seven ranked girls, and a young middle school talent named Carina Giangeruso in the field that could do who-knows-what. She took 5th in U15 last May in Texas. There’s also a freshman named Olivia Messerly (ranked #12) in the group that is scary good. She beat AWW’s #5 ranked Faith Cole twice in the finals of U15 last May, and that got our attention. If Olivia, her family, or her coaches think she’s a secret, someone tell them the cat’s out of the bag. All that said, in the end, the experienced and technically-sound Caitlyn Walker will be the one to beat. But don’t expect all the other hammers to go quietly. Title prediction: Caitlyn Walker

Sydney DeLois, IN
Serena Di Benedetto, ON - Cadet Pan Am bronze
Juliana Diaz, FL
Grace Elliott, TN
Mia Furman, ID
Sophia Forquer, NC
Carly Gross, PA
Isabella Hoffman, SC
Emalie Olson, MO

#1 ranked Montana Delawder just won it all at Fargo, but will have her hands full with eight other ranked wrestlers in the group along with multiple All-Americans and a Canadian World Team member named Serena Di Benedetto that won a Cadet bronze in 2018. Who takes this group? Gotta stick with our American girl! But between you, me, and that stink bug on the wall over there, looking across the mat at Di Benedetto makes me a little nervous. But not too nervous. USA! USA! Title prediction: Montana Delawder

Sabrina King, MO
Alyssa Landrum, VA
Bronwyn MacGregor, ON 5th at Gotham last spring
Landon McCartney, OK
Selina Moore, NY
Lydia Roope, MI
Riley White, FL

#3 ranked Leila Castro is an outstanding wrestler, but #1 Skylar Hattendorf is on fire, coming off a silver medal performance at Cadet Worlds. Yeah, kinda hard to pick against a world silver medalist. Title prediction: Skylar Hattendorf

Jada Llamido, FL
Alicen Dillard, CO
Kaylie Petersen, IN

Dear lord, this weight is jam-packed, featuring 11 AWW nationally-ranked girls, including #2, #3, #4, #5 and #6. Yikes! You could make a case for any of these girls to be standing on top in the end. I’m gonna go with the “upset” (but is it really?)—Korina Blades (no, not that Blades—the younger one) will take this group. Title prediction: Korina Blades

139 pounds
Cheyenne Bowman, CA #1 at 138
Reese Larramendy, PA #4 at 138
Sara Sulejmani, IL #7 at 138
Marisol Nugent, MA #7 at 132
Taryn Martin, OH #10 at 132
Chloe Ogden, FL #14 at 138
Lily Sherer, PA #17 at 132
Jacquelyn Font, FL #19 at 144
Jazzmine Seely, MO #21 at 144
Veronica Whitacre, PA #23 at 138
Gabby Miller, NJ
Eva Keefauver, NC
Amelia Cox, ON
Anjelica Guarcas, RI
Maricruz Flores, RI
Brianna Fraser, ON
Adelle Nappier, SC
Iris Nascimento Da Costa Feliz, FL
Kalani Rivas, FL
Alexis Ross, IA

Again, stacked with ranked girls, this time ten. But this one includes #1 Cheyenne Bowman and #4 Reese Larramendy from Wyoming Sem. The USAW-FloWrestling rankings actually had Larremendy at #1, so I guess you could say it’s the battle of two #1’s! This is gonna be lit. Grab your popcorn. Of course, they have to get through other hammers if we’re gonna see that matchup, as #7 at 132, Marisol Nugent, and #7 at 138, Sara Sulejmani, have their own plans. In the end, I’m gonna go with our #1. Title prediction: Cheyenne Bowman

148 pounds
Tiffani Baublitz, PA #2 at 152
Tiyahna Askew, GA #5 at 144
Ella Nichols, CT #6 at 144
Alexandra Nelson, RI #10 at 152
Seda Tsarni, MD #12 at 144
Dakota Dinielli, PA #18 at 152
Kiersten O'Neill, IN #19 at 164
Skylah Chakouian, RI #23 at 152
Nyla Burgess, ON - Canadian World Team, 2017 Pan Am bronze
Jason Foster, TX AA
Emma Thompson, OK AA
Paige Dickson, ON
Jaden Arrizola, FL
Jessi Johnson, NJ
Aliana Barnoski, OK
Payton Lanningham, ID
Ayala Wolak, OH #16 at 144

#2 ranked Fargo champ Baublitz is tough as nails, but so is Canadian world teamer Nyla Burgess, who won a Pan Am bronze in 2017. Baublitz isn’t impressed. She won gold—this year. Yeah, let’s go with our girl again. Title prediction: Tiffani Baublitz

160 pounds
Kennedy Blades, PA #1 164
Jewel Gonzalez, NJ #4 at 152
Emma Burk, CO
Autumn Terhune, IN
Sawyer Graham, MD
Linnea DaBrescia, TN
Katelyn Lewis, WI

#4 Jewel Gonzalez is in this group and is very tough. She’s the only other ranked wrestler besides 87x national champion Kennedy Blades. Can anyone challenge Blades? Nope. She’s a super hero. To borrow from our Flo friends: “Next topic.” Title prediction: Kennedy Blades

172 pounds
Dasia Yearby, SC #9 at 164
Kyleigh Dean, SC #17 at 164
Amelia Frisbee, ON - Canadian World Team, Journeymen champ
Vianne Rouleau, CAN - Canadian World Team, 2018 Pan Am Bronze
Kaitlyn Aliperti, ON
Deanna Eastman, AB
Kerly Borbor Ordonez, NJ
Elisa Holley, NC

Some solid Americans in the group with #9 Dasia Yearby and #17 Kyleigh Dean, but cue “O Canada” as I believe one of the two Canadian world teamers will win this weight. Title prediction: Vianna Rouleau

195 pounds
Isabeau Shalack, IL #2 at 225
Riley Dempewolf, IN #18 at 180
Andrea Smith, FL #22 at 200
Skyy Gowan, FL
Kierra Hubmaster, NJ
Sierra Chavez, FL
Xiomara Roddy, FL

It’s our #2 ranked Isabeau Shalack and everybody else, though there are a few other TOP25’ers here, like #18 Riley Dempewolf and #22 Andrea Smith. I’m almost tempted to pick Dempewolf because she has an awesome name, but I’m sticking with Shalack, who doesn’t have a bad name either. The homonym of “Shalack” is “shallac,” which of course means: “defeat or beat someone decisively.” That’s what she will do at Super 32. Title prediction: Isabeau Shalack
